Springfield - Furniture Assist needs volunteers ages 12+. Furniture Assist is a non-profit that accepts donations from those who have items to give. We receive many donated items and need volunteers to to help clients move furniture and to help with dishes, clothes, lamps and other household items. If you can't move items that's ok! You can help accept donations, organize them and help put stuff in order. On Sundays, Mondays and Wednesdays from 9-11:30 and from 12-2:30 we accept donations. Chatham - The Chatham Township Volunteer Fire Department is looking for highly motivated individuals to join their Junior Firefighter program. Interested individuals must be between the age sof 16 to 18 and be prepared to commit the necessary time and effort involved to being a volunteer firefighter. The Junior Firefighters are an integral par of the department assisting members on emergency calls, with department functions, and helping serve the community. TEEN VOLUNTEERS 16 AND OLDER NEEDED- NJ Blood Services, a division of the NY Blood Center, is in need of teen volunteers, to help out at blood drives. The blood service volunteer is an integral member of the blood collection team whose task it is assist donors during the donation process by escorting them from the bed to the canteen table, watching them for post donation reactions, and how to properly respond.
